The Cam-Doc East occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 600 metres on a north-facing slope, east of the Adams River and approximately 3 kilometres southwest of the west end of Tlowils Lake.

The area is underlain by Upper Triassic Quatsino Formation (Vancouver Group) limestone that overlies Karmutsen Formation andesitic flows and tuffs.

Locally, basalts host fine-grained chalcopyrite mineralization.

In 2019, two samples (19231 and 19232) assayed 0.468 and 0.465 per cent copper, respectively (Wasteneys, H. [2019-07-25]: NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Adam West Property, Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia).

Work History

The area has been explored in conjunction with the nearby Cam-Doc (MINFILE 092L 180) occurrence and a complete regional exploration history can be found there.
